One other thing, Is This Music? magazing gave us a wee mention in their lastest issue. It's from one of the Hookers Green #1 shows. Good Times. Here it is:
Sweetheart are something of a supergroup. Well, an indie supergroup. In strictly Scottish terms. Ok, they comprise former members of Electric Tibet, Goldblum and Major Major, all of whom will have graced a CD or compilation album owned by someone close to you in the past five years. Those in the know will be unsuprised to learn that their sound is itself a bit of a mix of influences, all in the noiserock ballpark - Pavement, Sonic Youth, Urusei Yatsura... indeed, someone greets then with the cry of "Seminal" ...though it might of been "Sebadoh". But that's faint praise - with a neat line in fuzz-drenched tunes and some engrossing interplay between the members, they could easily turn out greater than the sum of their parts.
